Ski’s and Tee’s Meeting Minutes – June 10, 2010

Meeting brought to order at 8:30 pm.

Membership Report: 74 paid members + 10 board members. Dues are due send to Bob DeHetre

Treasurer Report: Petty Cash $40.00 Savings $2,896.77 Checking $7,990.80

MDSC Report: No report Don was absent

Board Update: No board meetings during the period to update.

Gracie See’s: A get together for $1.00 beers and good food is held once a month on the Monday following the first regular meeting of the month at 5:30 pm. See you there. This Monday June 14, 2010 is the next visit.

Old business: Friday June 18^th Tigers game tickets available for purchase, $40 members, $43 non-members, seats are in section 117, rows 22 through 25. Still 17 tickets remaining. Call Mark Shearer for tickets. They are now going to be put on Craigs List for sale to the general public.

July23,24,25^th Golf trip to Lexington Kentucky pizza beer and wine party on Saturday. Flyer available. See Mark Shearer for availability. Thirty two people have signed up for the trip.

October 4-6 Northville Downs Texas Holdem for the babies see Marie Thomson for details. Volunteer helpers welcome for four hour shifts. Please show up.

June 24-27 Trout creek Dottie chairing. 23 people attending and trip is full. To accommodate this trip no golf league or meeting for the 24^th.

August 13-14 Ford Yacht Club Regatta all are welcome see RJ, Dottie, and Bob Nicolai for details. $5.00 cover charge, band, and cash bar. All welcome.

July 10 Ford Lobsterfest flyers with menu now available. Reservations required by July 5^th. Call Bob Nicolai to reserve your spot.

June 12^th, Bozo golf tournament by Teri Cracchiolo’s dad. Golf at Fern Hill, beer steak dinner, and fun for all. Chaired by Teri. Starting at 8:00 AM if there is such a time.

June 19^th, Elk’s picnic at Bell park. All are invited see Dave Kazor for details. $5.00 cover for entry. Beer, food, etc. provided. All are welcome.

July 31^st, Ski’s and Tee’s annual picnic at Bell Park. Flyers available. Sign up sheet to volunteer available see June Brent.

Aug. 14^th, Gaelic league golf outing. Golf at Riverview Highlands, food drinks etc. after at the hall in Detroit on Michigan Ave. $75.00 per person fund raiser. Mark and crew have signed up already. See Mark Shearer for further details.

Jan. 21^st – 23^rd, 2011, Searchmont trip. Due to troubles crossing the border into Canada, trip venue is under review. No update or further information available.

New Business

Tuesday June 22^nd. Mingle at Teri Cracchiolo house. Beer, hot dogs, and a surprise for $5.00 cover. Starts after 4:00 PM and bring a chair.

Monday June 21^st Toast Family Dining donates a portion of the receipts to Mels church in Dearborn Heights.

Patti Sablacan has new Delta credit card applications for all that want to apply for the new card and frequent flyer miles.

Discussion held on keeping the meeting fixed at 8:00 pm with or without golf. Idea was shot down by the power-crazed president Mark Shearer.

Saturday Nov. 20^th. AOH fund raiser. Patsi Cline and Jimmie Durante style entertainment. See Elaine Madigan for details.

Steve Livingston’s brother passed away. Funeral will be Sunday. John Kusch to send out E-Mail to all with the details.

50/50 Drawing: Winner was Teri Cracchiolo splitting $44.00. Congratulations. Dotti Britz drew the number for the night.

Meeting Adjourned : At 9:24 pm the next meeting will be July 8th, at 9:00 pm.

No meeting or golf on Thursday June 24^th or July 22^nd, due to out of town events.
